The real estate transaction as it is now

The process hasn’t evolved in over 50 years. It is still the same slow, arduous process that our parents and grandparents went through. It takes months to get a mortgage and you have a short window to coordinate the transaction and complete an overwhelming amount of paperwork. You have to do all that PLUS manage situations like an expiring lease, the start of a new school year, selling a current home, a work relocation, etc. Sorry, we just got worked up thinking about it.

Here’s how Ribbon is changing it

We ensure that by the time a homebuyer finds the home they love, they’re ready to go. We do this in a few ways.

We pre-approve buyers and back them with an all-cash “Ribbon Offer” to present to home sellers. This allows them to go up against bigger buyers — like Wall Street. We also cover home valuations — completed by an internal operations team within 24 hours. If a homebuyer cannot secure financing quickly enough, Ribbon will buy and reserve the home on behalf of the homebuyer and lease it to them at fair market rent for up to 210 days.

All parties benefit from the Ribbon transaction, which ensures a guaranteed commission and quick closing in as few as 14 days.
