Ribbon stands with the Asian-American community in solidarity and love. We grieve the loss ofXiaojie Tan, Daoyou Feng, Delaina Ashley Yaun Gonzalez, Paul Andre Michels, Soon Chung Park, Hyun Jung Grant, Suncha Kim, and Yong Ae Yue in the Atlanta shootings.

We also decry the attacks on Asian-Americans, especially the elderly, in the Bay Area and across the United States.

Ribbon unequivocally stands for racial justice and equity. Today, we are highlighting some organizations that support Asian-Americans and seek to dismantle systemic racism. The Ribbon Asian ERG and the entire company are supporting these organizations and are sharing in the hope that our community will consider doing the same:

Asian American Resource Center: This Georgia organization supports low-income Asian-Americnas by providing free English literacy and civics classes, and helps those experiencing homelessness find and maintain housing.literacy

The Asian Mental Health Initiative: The Asian Mental Health Collective aspires to make mental health easily available, approachable, and accessible to Asian communities worldwide.

Send Chinatown Love: Creating a digital community for Chinatown’s restaurants to sustain themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

AAPI Women Lead supports AAPI women and girls with workshops and and research, and promotes movements such as #ImReady, which addresses issues like gender-based and racial discrimination and sexual harassment in the community.

AAPI anti-racism response network: A coalition of local and national efforts that are tracking and responding to anti-Asian violence to ensure that the hardest-to-reach AAPI communities are included in this work. I
